The United States Attorney General published Eyewitness
Evidence: A guide for Law Enforcement in 1999. It covers most aspects of crime investigation that involves handling evidence from eyewitnesses. The guidelines are based both on the application of current psychological research on perception, memory, recognition and identification to forensic procedures already in use.
We have included the complete guidelines on our website as a service to our clients.
